    This isn't just sport

  • Welcome

Triathlon doesn’t build character. It reveals it

Fleet Feet Triathletes is a friendly and sociable triathlon club, open to members of all abilities, from beginners to professionals, and with most training sessions in and around Aberdeen.

Coached sessions with highly experienced triathlon coaches, including indoor turbo training sessions during the winter, swimming sessions for all abilities and a coached run session, off-road or track dependent on the weather.  Members and non-members are all very welcome.

Fleet Feet also organises annual home races – including sprint and standard distances at the beautiful location of Knockburn Loch in the heart of Royal Deeside, a team relay and Tristars for ages 8-16.

Throughout the year, members compete in numerous local, national and international events of all distances. Each season is filled with many competitive (and social) events.

Annual membership is only £30. Coached sessions are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis to cover the cost of the venue, with discounts for members. Click here to download a 2016 membership form.

You'll find our virtual "clubhouse" on Facebook, where we post updates, news and chat. What are you waiting for? Join here.

    Kevin Watson

    Level 2 Triathlon Coach

    Martin Goodlad

    Level 2 Triathlon Coach

    Stuart Brice

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

I started triathlon to achieve a fitness and weight loss goal and quickly became hooked. I have worked my way up all the races distances with my first iron distance race in 2015. I love the energy and fun that I get from coaching such a great bunch of people.

    Aude Chaiban

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

    Lewis Murchie

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

    Lynne Parkinson

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

    Andy Redman

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

Triathlon still has a mystique about it, but the truth is that everyone can do a triathlon. The job of the coach for non triathletes, is to enable that to happen by increasing skill levels and gradual exposure to what will be experienced so increasing confidence and ability.  A link to a healthy lifestyle can quickly follow. If this can become habit forming, especially in young people, less time will be spent on the couch!

    Graham Ritchie

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

    Alan Semple

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

Being ginger I realise that life is difficult, my coaching allows me to help those who strive to achieve greatness in the face of adversity. Other than that, its great fun to coach a bunch of people who want to improve and have a good time whilst training hard.

    Jake Vellacott

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

18 years later still find this sport magic and can't but help encourage folk to give it a go.

    Andy Williams

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

    Alex Spencer

    Level 1 Triathlon Coach

I've been competing in Triathlons for 3 years and completed my Level 1 course last year. At the moment I'm currently training for a couple of events and trying to ensure I don't get beaten by my wife! I really enjoy coaching the Tristars especially in open water swimming during the summer at Knockburn Loch.
