FFT SS Race 4
| Another fine Thursday evening. Much warmer than the previous
one but that wouldn't have taken too much at all. So we arrive and the
organisers were well under way as normal. The registration crew and of course
the marker pen people.
Mo caught, in her normal pose, on her knees and a guys trousers down. Anyway she and the other registration crew got us all marked up and ready for the briefing. |

Time to hurry along, get the bikes dumped all around transition. Circle them a couple of times, double.... triple check that all the kit is in the right place. Then kegs off rubber hats on and into the lovely tasting pool.....mmmmm yummy! Time to race.

All off, swimming fast, little fishes all in a line and getting bashed by the experts.

A later heat and we see the series leader having a wee pray, nice one Charles, before the shout of off. I'm not sure about the other lanes but it was fast and furious. Diack was "out fished" by the young visitor, Fraser Cartmell, with a ginger toe sucker on Diacks heels.

Transition was the usual mayhem. Bikes all over the shop, goggles under foot, shoes & wheels everywhere. People dressing undressing...... lot's of states of undress. Is this why so many people hang around?

So the mayhem to the right.
And to the left in the rain, a dedicated follower....... of fashion!!?? |

Time to get off the bike, slip on those fast shoes and head round cowie..... the joy.
Look at the smile, Running is such happiness!! |

Sunshine and rain....... it was a great night........ convinced yet!
So we've all worked hard, raced to the limits. Worked up a bit of an appetite? Yup we surely did. How better to finish off the evening but pay a visit to our main sponsor, The Bervie Chipper.

Last thing for the evening was the results and presentation of the prizes. Thanks to all our sponsors and the race organisers and of course the marshals. Another great Summer Series, let's hope next year the sun may shine...... or will that happen at the Winter Series? Stranger things have happened. Well Diack might train and try regain his crown from Charles!!!!
